Will be accountable and responsible for planning, directing, implementing, evaluating various tasks and activities throughout the day within the nursing department. Applicants must be able to work within a team, possess strong leadership skills, and be self-motivated. Applicant must also have excellent communication and verbal skills relating to administration:

• Develop and implement nursing service objectives, policies, and procedures to maintain a high quality of care amongst residents.
• Determines staffing levels and monitors for adequate provision of nursing care.
• Oversees administrative functions in Nursing Department.
• Develops educational programs within the nursing department to promote staff development.
• Maintains an effective quality assurance program.
• Abide by State/Federal rules and regulations.
